Hi, I'm Steve Volk of Steve's Self Storage. I was raised on a small beef farm north of Sandstone from 1970 until graduating high school in 1977. I raised my kids here and now some grandchildren are going to school here also.

After graduating my father and I started a small trucking company, until 1999. After that I started driving a truck for road construction and working in the real estate business. 

I purchased my first self storage facility in 2016.

I'm proud to be part of this community and happy to answer questions and show you around my units. My home is on this site (58667 Hwy 23). I'm invested in keeping it safe and well-maintained. Some of the units are repurposed outbuildings, some are brand new (early 2025), and I have plenty of open land for outdoor parking and storage. I plan to open another self storage location within city limits of Sandstone at some point.
